River-and-Road Civilization

Sablonne’s transport system combines the navigable Great River and its tributaries with long caravan roads planned around dependable water, wells, reservoirs, shade stations, repair yards, and freight depots.

Its hydraulic traditions focus on reservoirs, cisterns, flood capture, irrigation, drainage, stormwater control, and seasonal storage.

Four Principal Cities

Marava is the largest city and maritime gateway. Talara is the great northeastern crossroads. Demerra is the capital and traditional inland heart. Sorava is the smaller southern plateau city tied to livestock, agriculture, and the Great Sorava Fair.

The important secondary town of Serenne serves the eastern highlands, the great waterfall, freight transfer around the cataracts, tourism, and specialized rescue and engineering.

National Character

Sablonnese culture is communal, hospitable, commercially comfortable, relatively informal, and deeply practical about weather and water.

The country does not try to eliminate seasonal variation. Its philosophy is to prepare intelligently, preserve what matters, and use prosperity without wasting it.
