Varkos’s second-largest city and principal maritime gateway, built around a protected inlet where the great river from Tharos reaches the Pelorian Ocean.
Harbor Between Cliffs
Korrin sits on a rugged coast of green cliffs, rocky headlands, reefs, islands, and narrow approaches. The sheltered harbor is difficult to force and extremely useful to enter by permission.
The city is a center of shipbuilding, fishing, foreign trade, maritime engineering, and coastal defense.
Outward-Facing Varkos
Korrin is the Varkosan city most accustomed to foreign merchants and sailors. It tends to be conversational, pragmatic, commercially minded, and more tolerant of cultural eccentricity than the inland cities.
Its culture values not merely reaching the open sea, but possessing the judgment and craftsmanship necessary to return from it.
